Never Ever

The sensation hits you,
like a smack in the face.
The feeling of worry,
of insecurity,
the loss of love.
It comes to you,
telling you.
Screaming it will happen,
saying there's no escape.
Soon the feeling grows,
and you feel the emptiness.
It collides with the joy,
but slowly overtakes.
Like a battle with no hope,
you keep fighting.
Then it consumes your heart,
and all feelings else.
And back to the hole,
you started from you stand.
Losing the battle,
lost the war.
There is not hope anymore,
and you finally realize...
there is never, ever
a happy ending.

    Aww this is such a heartfelt peice, you portrayed lots of emotion. I loved the love and war oximoron, im sure lots of people can relate to thi peice - how your heart yearns for something that seems like a fairytale, coz many of ius feel like happy endings never occur. I thad a great flow, and was able to read easily! i great poem all in all.

    It was a lovely poem simple yet the flow were smooth. yeah i agree in your last line there's no such thing as a happy ending story.
