The Kingdom of Broken Hearts

Some say they have felt their heart break
A broken heart is something no one should take.

But have you ever truly loved someone
then they just leave you, deceive you when it's all done?

I once loved this girl with all my heart
Then she left and my heart fell apart.

A broken heart is one thing
and I won't lie it does sting.

But I truly loved this girl, with everything I had
and when she left I was sad and somewhat mad.

Mad because I waited for three months and twenty days
sad because she left me with death and it's cruel gaze.

Death had it's gaze set on my heart
Suicide was something I never wanted to start.

But when she left I had nothing
I had made her that one special something.

My heart was something I could no longer feel
Like it left me with a hand I couldn't deal.

Now I dodge love as tho they were darts
As I continue to live in the Kingdom of Broken Hearts.
