And yet you can't you see through this imaginary world?
The fad that you embraced is nothing more than an illusion.
Why do you live like this? Regret? Don't fake this.
Truth lies beneath, but you have replaced that truth with pain.
Suffocating. Get out now, It's not worth it.
I see the struggle in your eyes. Don't let it
Remain inside of you. You may think you're perfect,
But I see what you have become. Let go of the pain.
You don't have to follow them; they're not part of your world.
They're leading you along, using you, manipulating this
Person who I used to know. Can you see the illusion
Yet? No not that one in your head, but the illusion
All around you. Slowly taking over you life, it
Has almost become an inseparable part of this
Life of yours, but you don't need it to be perfect.
You don't belong anymore to that world,
Leave behind that illusion and with it your pain
And suffering that caused you to give in to it. Pain
That has been within you for years, hidden by this illusion
Of your peers who are "deep", and "understanding" of your world,
Your life. They don't care about you, don't you see it?
They need you, without you they are nothing, they are your imperfections
and they are the reason why you have stayed in this
Swirling pool of doubt and misery. This
Was not who you were; don't you remember before the pain?
But who am I to tell you this, I am not perfect.
But together we can come close to perfection. The Illusion
Is becoming more transparent; see through it.
Is my outline clear to you know, or is it still distorted by their world?
I'm here waiting for you, the choice of which world
You wish to be in is yours. But you know this
Is not for you. That you are stronger than them and it
Is no longer your burden, the memories and pain
Is dust that has settled for too long, creating this illusion
Blurring your vision of what is perfect.
Their world is behind you now, it is a new beginning.
Your imperfections, this life of yours and mine,
The illusions and the pain, I want it all. I want you.
