Why lie??

Do you know what hurts the most about this?
I decided to give it a chance but then I got dissed!
I got to admit that I really did like you, and I didn't think you were going to break my heart in two.
But I guess things don't always turn out in your favor. All this is now just another memory to remember!
I seriously thought you were different. And that every word you said you actually meant!
I cry wenever I think of what you told me. I member you told me you loved me daily!
When you ended it you said you never lied? Well how come after, I just sat and cried!?
I thought about every thing you said when we were together. And how I actually thought we were going to be together forever.
You said the sweetest things to me. things that made me think I was happy!
I believed every word you had to say. The ones you said each and every single day.
But they all turned out to be lies that seemed to be true. I guess that was something you already knew!
My question to you is why?why'd you say those things and then make me cry?
