Just A Poem To Say...

by Dan   Aug 3, 2007

Just a poem, a poem to say.
I think about you every day.
The queerest thing, seems to be love.
Seldom do I see you, yet so much.
Your smile warms my heart.
Leaves my feet tingling.
I swear that I can fly.
Your sweet touch makes me light.
The evening stars, the setting sun.
All I would use, to display my love.
My only dream, my burning heart.
I surrender to you, your charming ways.
True love is rare, this I know.
But I know its true, that I love you.
Just waiting for three words, I sit in emptyness.
Dying to hear, the words you may fear.
"I love you" I whisper, before I sleep.
"I love you" I whisper, it makes me weep.
"I love you" I whisper, as dawn approaches.
"I love you" I whisper, when I see your face.
"I love you" you whisper, in my head.
"I love you" you whisper, when I dream in my bed.
"I love you" you whisper, when my fantasies live.
"I love you" you'll tell me, in a few more years.

Dedicated to Katie
