My Mum & Dad

Through thick and thin,
Through all the screams,
They helped me through,
And were there for me too.

I may fall and cry,
And as hard as i try,
They'll appear out of nowhere,
Bringing me comfort and care.

A bad day in school,
Or when i've broken a rule,
They'll know something's not right,
Talk to me and somehow help in any plight.

Mum & Dad, I love them so.
They're the ones who watched me grow.
And all these years with their love and care,
Makes a gem like them so rare.

    This is a really beautiful poem, especially because its like a dedication or tribute to your mum and dad. As they say "Blood is thicker than water" I dont think we realise just how much support and love our parents give us. Great poem!
