Everything But Alive.

by UnSpokenPromises   Aug 4, 2007

Every morning she wakes up
to find herself dead again.
From the cuts on her skin
to the tears she can't mend

She walks through her day
like every day before
from quiet and calm
to loud and hardcore

No one can help her
with the way she feels
They've given her shots
and put her on pills

Yet she still screams his name
like its something worth saying
and still gets on her knees
and prays like its worth praying

She knows that he really is gone
And that every lie is really true

but still I wait and I wait
till the day i come home to you
