Nothing Would Be The Same

by Maria   Aug 4, 2007

Nothing would be the same.
Happiness without you, a million miles away.
Perfect sunny days are filled with gray clouds,
and from my eyes comes the pouring rain.
2:00 p.m... Nothing would be the same.
Never ending days, cold and empty nights.
Walking along an open road, with nothing
but hope in my side.
Hope for a tomorrow
where i wake up from this dream.
Hope that someway you'll find the road back to me.
It's hard when everyone's saying the same thing.
They're all fighting over who's to blame.
Throwing mean and hurtful names back and fourth.
6:43 p.m. running out the door.
Nothing would be the same.
Sitting at home waiting on your call.
Sitting in your room, no answer still,
not even the slightest sign so small.
Wearing your shirt it still has your smell.
Sleeping on your bed,
restless thoughts running through my crazed head.
Your picture is on my wall,
and my heart's yours to keep.
I'll give anything for you to just
come back home and stay with me Kenny.
