There is so much I wanted to tell you.
But these words left unspoken for so long,
Now fall upon deaf ears.
You can't hear me anymore.

I masked my feelings for you.
Hid them behind a carefully structured facade.
To protect myself.
I thought you might shatter the feeble hope that I had inside of me.

But what good did that do me in the end?
I am left now on this world to wallow...
To wonder...
To dream...
What might have been had I told you how I truly felt.

Would we have fallen apart?
Or would we have triumphed over all others?
Were you really my knight in shining armour?
Or were you just a dark force destined to be my downfall?

All these unanswered questions...
Uncountable unspoken desires...
Things I will for all of time have hanging on my mind.
Because you can't answer me now.

You were torn from me and all else who cared for you.
But I have one last thing I wish to tell you.
I loved you.
And I always will.
