Broken Life

I'm going to tell you a story you see
on how love is never easy
and how love can be so magic
but then suddenly it turns so tragic
this girl you see had the one
but the very next day he had gone
she was left with a shattered heart
and how her life was falling apart
no more smiles just all this pain
she questioned, if she will ever be the same
she want to be happy but all she did was cry
and she laid there wishing she could die
she held her teddy, and read the love letter
she prayed it would make her feel better
he said he loved her, but such a lie
and how he will never say goodbye
so why did you leave me like this
as she screamed, longing for his kiss
she wandered through life, nothing there
no-one understands her, no-one seems to care
all she wanted was to go back to before
but all he says is he doesn't want her any more
this can't be happening, i can't be alone
has she sat all night holding the phone
waiting for his name to appear
waiting to hear him say that hes wants her here
all she wants is a friend to shed light
as she stares into the darkness of the night
all she needed was a friend
because her life now felt so pretend
she mustn't have been enough
but all she ever wanted was his love love
i wasn't pretty, he wanted someone smart
so he hurt me by breaking my heart
she stared in the mirror, hated her face
I'm ugly, thats why, I'm such a disgrace
i don't deserve to stay alive
I'm a disgrace you see, as she took her life
her mum saw her the very next day
and saw that her daughter had took her life away
her young daughter, it seemed so unfair
and in her hand a letter laid there
and it said the following line
i wasn't enough for him, so it was my time
i was alone, and needed love
but it seemed to everyone, i wasn't enough
so tragic a story, of a broken heart
and how her life fell apart
all she ever wanted was another soul
so she felt her life was whole
all she ever craved for was a friend
but its now to late, its now the end
