The lives we live

I drift to sleep,
Inside I weep,
I hate this world,
I hope I never wake,
To all the pity and the hate,
Which sinks into their souls,
For so long it moulds,
Inside the shadows,
They spy,
Hopping never to catch your eye,
They are death,
And forever they will stay,
Till the day you lay,
Heart not beating,
Now your leaking,
Into the nightmares of tomorrow
