It's Not Okay

The joy in everyone I see is haunting all my dreams
I know that what they are is what I can never be
Their happiness tears my heart and eats into my soul
Those kind things they said are coming from a black hole

No one is ever really happy because somethings always wrong
Theres no such thing as a perfect day if you've been hurting all along
No one can see through each others scams and though to all their scars
But I know whats going on for I march to my own guitar

Heaven is no excuse to put on a happy face
No one can say from sure what happens when we leave this place
The truth is we live in fear whether we accept it or not
So you just turn your head but you'll remember this as you rot

And you wish you would've listened and stood out in a crowd
Lived life on the edge and screamed just a little to loud
Turned up the music till you could barely breathe
Be tortured as you live but live but you could live your life free

Instead you just smile and then you start to say
But even before you finish I can tell its not okay
So stop lying and shake the smile from your face
And join our group of misery and become a big disgrace
