After the Rain

Hot, hot, summer day,
Heat that burns cement touching feet,
Unbearable sun.
Then, sweet relief
Down comes the rain,
Sending clouds of steam,
Swirling, soaring, towards the sky.
Steamy, steamy, summer day.
