There Goes Her Saving Grace

Door creaks slowly shut
Humidity fills the air,
Waterfall held deep within
Distraught the lonely pair.

Homebound her boy surely is
Searing pain breathes reality,
Quickly not will he return
But together they'll always be.

Last of safety felt for while
Withheld again are tears,
Passion fills the lips that meet
Creep slowly up the fears.

Headlights blaring painful part
Bluntly front they shine,
Smile and a wave goodbye
Love songs fill their minds.

Engine starts and pulls away
Her sobs are now released,
Blinded by her sorrowed heart
His car is all she sees.

Down the road of length so long
With a quickened change of pace,
A wave she gives with no return
There goes her saving grace.

ugg so i wrote this poem and then went to submit it and i had been on the page too long and it said i had to be logged in and i lost the whole poem!!!! so i rewrote it but it's not the same, but hope you still like it!

    That comment you had at the end yeah that happens to me so after I type them up on here I copy them and then if I loose it I can just paste it back on. ^_^ I really liked this poem. I liked the lonely pair part the best I think. I wish I could give it a four point something but I can't so I'll give it a five and do you a favor. :)
