Her place

by Christina   Aug 9, 2007

She goes to hide her face,
runs off to her secret place.
And she remembers all the fears,
and she sheds so many tears.
While she looks back in her past,
wondering why it didn't last.
Secretly inside she knows why,
no matter how hard she try.
Hiding in her place,
remembering his face.
Putting herself through pure torture,
Those past years have become a blur.
And as a tear falls down her cheek,
she has soft words to speak.
The rain starts,
with 2 broken hearts.
She prays that it won't last,
that pain will only be in her past.
With a broken heart she cries,
and says her good-byes.
Because her place is no more,
taken the key and locked the door.
She can never look back,
in fear of light turning pitch black.
Remembering his love,
and pray to the lord above.
She leaves her last 2 tears,
for those last 2 years.
