It's so weird how people get along
First it's perfect
Then next some-thing's wrong
It was like opposites attract
And we were perfect friends
But we had our initial troubles
It seemed like it would end
But we made it through
Through the hard knocks of life
We stuck together
Even through all the strife
We know each other like sisters would
Hung out all the time
Because we could
She's my girl, my thou, my chief, my twin
So much trouble we used to get in
She knows me so well, inside and out
When we're together, there's never a doubt
I trust her so much
You wouldn't believe
I've known her since I was thirteen
And still our friendship proceeds
She's clever and funny
She's honest and sweet
She's pretty and witty
She'll always hate feet!
I know that our friendship is very strong
With a friend like her
It seems like nothing can go wrong
We've been tested through many hard times
But our friendship endured
And has continued to shine
I'm thankful for having her around
She's the best friend a girl could ever have
And I am grateful that it is her I found!
