A distinct Line

by Miss Megan   Aug 11, 2007

My face red with frustration,
Just another useless feeling you leave me with.
My insides aching with shame,
So many emotions filled up to the brim.

Vulnerable from head to toe,
I've lost control of my mind.
Am I worth anything to you?
Or have you finally crossed the line?

Chorus:
There's a distinct line parting love and hate,
Our feelings wavering between the two.
Sometimes life has another plan,
There's only so much 'sorry' can do.

We've picked up the pieces too many times to count,
Breaking what we have more each time.
Filled with so much anger and pain,
We leave our hearts and care far behind.

Words can tear you apart,
Yet easily heal the wounds.
But how much longer can I wait?
How much longer can we ignore the truth?

Chorus.[x2]

My face red with tears and hurt,
Just another useless feeling you leave me with.
Now's your last chance to make things right,
Will you still taste these lips of sin?

There's a distinct line parting love and hate,
Our feelings constantly wavering between the two.
I can't continue to sit here waiting and wondering,
The choice is up to you.
