You English Rose

by Nikki   Aug 11, 2007

No scarlet sunset could compare
To deep red petals that gently sway,
No other flower could be so fair
Yet why does your heart wander and stray?

Icy weather, nature's cool gust,
Crimson tears fall soft to ground.
Releasing the strong passion and lust,
Reflect on those times you sadly found.

Wilting into a blissful rebirth,
Bittersweet memories rile your soul.
Disregard, bury them under the earth,
Kindly heal your hearts gaping hole.

No stormy sky will bring despair
We will try and fight your foes
Flower friends will always care...
For our perfect, proud English Rose.
