Satin finish.

by Mr Rhee   Aug 12, 2007

There's no need to find the balance.
It won't be thrown. Just need to
clean it,and bring the edge up.
Here we go,now.

Look at it. Four and a half
inches along the edge.
A cool seven eighths across.
All the tarnish is off now.

The metal is almost polished,
a fine satin finish.
High tempered, almost a light blue.
Very fine, very beautiful, very deadly.
Now, for the edge.

It slides across the stone in a smooth ark.
Almost with a hiss, a wonderful sound for the ear.
So smooth, and cool in my hand.
Back and forth. Back and forth.

The edge was already good,
now it just glides on its edge.
Here's the test. Bring the edge
down on my forearm.
A slow, smooth pull, and the
hair just falls right off.

Yes, it's perfect, I think.
This will do just fine.
Now I just have to find a comfortable seat.
A place where I can lean back and relax.

There. That's good. I'm ready.
My best shirt and slacks, and my favorite shoes. Yeah, I'm ready. With this perfect edged blade in my right hand, I cut my left wrist, oh so easily. Just so easy.
