A Fragile heart

If I was to place my heart
in your hands, would you keep
it safe for me?
Would you Cherish, love
and treat it compassionately?

I trusted one with it's keep once along time ago he miss handled it, broke it. Fortunately no that bad.
I was able to put it back together, but it has never been the same. It's still to fragile to trust to anyone who plays an unfair game

So would you keep it safe for me?
I know it's alot to ask but,
if you can't promise me at this moment
you may not desire this task.

I just keep hoping love will come
all good things usually do. I've learned to be
patient and to recognize the moment I'll
