Thankyou

Well mum and dad what can i possibly say
I bet your wishing now you left me at the hospital that day
You wanted an angel but instead you got me
A cheeky little minx with a very high fee

You brought me up well you did a good job
I'm certainly not a drug addict or a teenage yob
I work hard play hard more then other my age
But if you had it your way I'd be locked in a cage

Now I'm an adult it's time to let go
I'm fed up with hearing that annoying word NO
I've made mistakes that I've learnt from now
There's no need for lectures or the constant rows!

I can always say you did and gave everything you could
Which is more then some other mum and dads would
I feel privileged to be part of two people like you
So lets stop all this fighting that we seem to do

We all have our good points and also the bad
When we don't get along all i feel is sad
I want to say thank you for your time and care
And being blessed with two parents so special and rare!
