JUST FRIENDS

by Dancing On The Ceiling   Aug 12, 2007

Every time he sees her he smiles
To see her, he'd walk miles

He leans in and kisses her on the head
There's not a secret between them unsaid

There's never a time where they're not hand and hand
For every game of hers he's there cheering in the stand

He walks holding her pink purse while she shops around
His princess is what she is crowned

He gives these special looks to only her
No matter what, his love is the best cure

He's the one who holds her hair back when she's sick
Right from the beginning they just seem to click

Often at times he has been seen fighting for her sake
For the love they have for each other you could never fake

He carries her books to class
On Sunday afternoons they walk the dog in the grass

After class he meets her in the hall
Outsiders think they have it all

They were supposed to hang out all night
They were the cutest "almost couple" in all of site

But he didn't meet her in the abandoned tree house down the street
After that her emotions slowed and she was a little off beat

She called to see why he didn't meet her
Because to her everything was still a blur

He said "I went out to HER house and I spent the night,
What's the big deal; we're just friends ...right?...
