A foul lie?

by Taylor   Aug 13, 2007

Her hand held over her heart like it had just shattered.

His lips on others then her own.

A silent tear running down her cheek.

She turned and ran no one to stop this broken heart from falling to the floor.

She sat in a dark room.

She thought it was true meant to be.

She thought they would get married.

An empty promise?

A foul lie?

Isn't that what love is?

A poem spoken with truthness. I like it. Nice job on this one.
