Our Inner God

by Kyle Myers   Aug 13, 2007

I looked in the mirror.
It never tells a lie.
My vision was a little blurred.
But it said I'm going to die.
The distorted figure starring.
Right back into my eye.
It said to me caring,
You will never die.
The reflection of God.
Deep within my soul.
Holds me up with pride.
As reality is anything but whole.
He whispers in my ear,
Loving and truly sincere.
No one has a destiny.
And everyone has fear.
What you will do forever.
Only depends on the willing tear.
Don't think twice.
Never look back.
Only hope to me.
I am what you will never lack.
