As she lies in her bed,
she asks herself why,
why am i like this,
why can't i die,
why can't i leave this life behind,
forget about the pain and all the lies,
as she lies in her bed,
her eyes fill with tears,
she wants to forget the past and her fears,
she misses smiling,
she misses laughing,
she misses the times when it was ok to be happy,
but it's not ok,
not any more,
she took her life behind that closed door,
