I Can't Let Us Go

I can't forget what we had
It's something that can't be done.
Everything that we have been through
You have been the only one.

All those memories
And all those nights.
They all mean so much
It just felt so right.

We weren't meant to be this
Unhappy and apart.
We're meant to be together
As a whole, as one heart.

Those promises we made
We can still pursue.
By not doing anything
We got so much more to lose.

We were meant to be happy
And deeply in love.
Why did we go wrong?
Why wasn't it good enough?

I won't let us go
It's hard enough to try.
When I think about our past
I lay in bed and cry.

I want us back
Everything we used to be.
A life spent together
That was meant for you and me.

    I know the heartach. the pain... it hurts like hell. imagining him with someone else...telling her the same thing...

    u never really get over it...u just get used to the pain. every now and then when u think about him, your heart will skip a beat, and every now and then ur gunna cry.,. only because thats what happens when true love is broken..
