The only thing keeping her from killing herself

She smiles fake smiles
so no ones knows the truth
she says she's happy
but thats only the half-truth
she sits and cries
in her dark corner
she holds it all inside
its burning like a fire
but she wont put it out
she's just too scared
they want her to face the world
but she's not at all prepared
she doesn't think she can make it
he's the only thing holding her together
he tells her things she believes
like he'll love her forever
if it wasn't for him
she'd throw her life away
but he's there with her
and forever he'll stay
at least thats what he tells her
and she wants it to be true
she looks forward to each day
when he says 'I love you'
she's so happy to be with him
its the only thing good in her life
if he ever goes away
she'll make friends with that knife
he's the only one who makes her smile real smiles
he's the only one who cares
he's the only one who can protect her
and chase away her nightmares
she'll love him till the end
and he the same
but soon she'll found out
he's only causing more pain...
