Have I ever told you when we were in love
that sometimes I could hear your heart beating
in time with mine?

have I ever told you that I would give everything up
to lay next to you
just to feel your chest rise and fall
with each breath you take,
just to know that you are real?

Have I ever told you
I'm so afraid to see your eyes sparkle
and watch you falling in love with that girl?

Have I ever told you
I would go on my knees
begging you not to share
heartbeats with the one I hate?
