Turn on the news, What do i see?
Violence, drugs, rape and murder all on T.V

Everyones yelling and screaming out loud
No wonder little ones have bad mouths

It's getting hard to watch the news
cause all you hear is violence and abuse

Parents beating and murdering there kids
How did the world come to this?

There used to be faith?
There used to be hope?

Is this world just forcing us to cope?

If we stop and looked around
And took the time to work things out

Neighbors would be friends
Family would be close

Children would be saved
For all the hurt would go

So if you took a minute
Just one minute out of your day

And lend a helping hand
To someone who was afraid

This world would be a better place
And we could turn on the news

And we could see peace and love
Instead of Violence and abuse
