WHAT IF

What if...
what if i was truely dead,
no longer you could touch my face,
no longer able to stare in my eyes,
or feel that long warm embrace,

what if the last words you said to me,
deep down you were mad and didnt really mean,
would you miss me forever in regret,
with my face always haunting your dreams,

what if ...

what if i was really forever gone,
obviously you would wish that i wasn't dead,
but at my final resting place,
would you finally say things you wish you could've said,
..
i just wish through our relationship,
you could tell me how you really felt,
not just get mad and say mean things,
as you sit there and watch my heart melt............
