If I could be your shoes,
I'd make you elegant and tall,
I'd sweep you off your feet,
But I'd never let you fall.

If I could be your quilt,
I'd be close to you all night,
I'd keep you warm and safe,
Until the morning light.

If I could be your friend,
To call when you are down,
Someone on whom you could depend,
To share a wine and take away that frown.

If I could be your lover,
When I wake with you in my arms, I'd say,
I'd love you like no other, for the rest of my life...

...... every single day.
