When the time came to let him go
Tears took over and did they show
The good times and the bad
The best friend that i ever had

I remember him by my side
One deary dawn in summer tide
He held my hand tightly then said
"You are the greatest person I ever had

Forget the tears and the frowns
Dont let him ever get you down
I'll always be by your side
Friends forever till we die"

His words are in me on this day
I love you Mickie you will always stay
The greatest person in my heart
And with that said we'll never part

But then the day came on that dreaded road
Across the station i was told
That a boy was hit by a car
Whilst crossing to reach the other side

I went to the spot where he was hit
Pushed through the crowds and there you sit
You called to me and i run to you
and the last words you said were "I Love You"

Till this day i recall those words
They once came from a really good friend
I will always be there for you till the end

This was written for my friend Mickie.I hope wherever he is, he reads this and still knows i am remembering him everyday and will always love him to.He didnt deserve to be hit he was only trying to meet me. But God took his life and now hes gone but will always remeber him in my heart and my thoughts.i<3uM
