Broken And Bruised

by Jessie Baker   Aug 25, 2007

You hold her tight,
don't let her out of sight,
she's like a fish in a tank,
or money locked in a bank.

She'll cry and she'll plea,
why can't you see,
she's crying inside,
on this horrifying ride.

She can't take it no more,
she's bruised and she's sore
she crys out for help,
and he comes through the door.

she puts her head down,
and lays on the floor,
he won't take her non sense,
not now, not no more.

she screams and she begs,
till she can't feel her legs,
she thinks to herself ..

" why's this happening to me? "

she erases that thought,
this is how it must be.

he looks in her eyes,
he's pleased with his work,
he walks out, and shuts off the light,
he knows he's won,
cause she'll cry through the night.

she's broken and bruised ,
so she lays back down,
she's broken and bruised,
so she let's out a frown,

what can she do?
what can she say?

she's Broken and bruised,
and she knows it will always,
go his way.
