Seventy five

by HollywoodSmile   Aug 25, 2007

I wrote this on 02/02/07

seventy-five days until summer
a lesser amount untill the ground is not damp
with white

but with summer mud and chlorine
twenty four hours pass by
on each of those seventy five days

sixty minutes for each of thwenty-four hours
on each of those seventy five days

sixty seconds for each of those sixty minutes
within those twenty four hours
on each of those seventy five days

much time shall pass before i again see your face
but after each of those second-filled-minutes, minute-filled-hours, and hour-filled-days

i will forget that on each of those seventy-five days
i did not see you face

and will remember to keep it
in a very special place
