Boy Next Door

by Delicious 42   Aug 25, 2007

Wow, how the dorky boy next door,
Grew up to be a handsome hunk,
Remembering the times at the public pool,
When you always got dunk.

How we use to play basketball,
Always on different teams,
But if I'd had known you were gonna turn out like this,
It would've been a different thing.

How we use to call each other names,
You at my house watching movies,
On how these moments would be so profound.

How we use to mimick tv shows,
And play those childish games,
Curious George, Mr.Rodgers,
But our favorite Tarzan and Jane.

If only I knew how you would turn out back then like I do now,
You would've definitely been my boyfriend,
Doing things differently,
Us lasting forever in the end.

Love,
MBL
