Put you on the path

by The Undoing   Aug 27, 2007

Your journey through life and love,
You won't be alone at all.
Even when you don't know it,
I'll be there if you start to fall.
I'll put you back on the path.

Your first steps into school,
Where we first met.
Your only friend, your truest love,
I'll always be there, your safest bet.

Don't worry that you may never take,
My name in marriage, or my hand in life.
But don't ever doubt, I'll be for you,
And guide you in your days of strife.

I will hold your hand, when you are afraid,
I'll cover your eyes from the fear.
I'll watch you walk away with him,
Just look back, know I'll still be here.

You're a perfect friend, and to you I owe,
My life, my love, and promise of forever.
Even in your days of old and sick,
Your happiness is my only endeavour.

Against the push and the pulls of life,
Know I'll push back, we can kick and shove.
I'll help you wherever you go, even if you say no,
And dearest, I promise this, with my seal of love.

I like what this is about.
i have to say i hope that is how in your life you live because to have someone who can say that no matter what happens, they are going to be there catch that person when they fall, is a big promise to make, but something amazing for someone to know.
