She

by Beautifully Disfigured   Aug 27, 2007

She was just seventeen
she could have everything
but you tore her into two
she had given it all to you
her life is gone, now can you see
the words you said and what they'd mean
she was brave, she was strong
she thought it was right, it ended all wrong
her heart began to break
she took the knife like a silver stake
she wouldn't dare bother to cry
though she still wondered why
so she said she wouldn't hurt no more
and that this life was such a bore
and in her room, there it lay
a black-handled dagger with a silver blade
all she wanted was to just restart
but stabbed that blade into her heart
now she bleeds ontot he floor
her mother rushes through the door
a note lies upon her bed
as the last of the memories flash inside her head
"i loved him more than you know,
but the pain was too much to endure.
my heart had broken more than it should,
if i could take it all back, you know i would
but now the time has come, i had to go
i hate you now, i haope you know"
