I walk to night under this night sky
Pondering on what you are doing right now
I can only imagine that you’re sleeping in your bed
Sleeping in your bed as I walk in the middle of the night

Every step I take I can feel your heart beat
Every now and then I feel you hand touching mind
I cannot get you out of my mind

Every tear that falls from my face
Reminds me of all the ones that fell from yours
I can see how this happened

I crushed your heart for no reason
So you returned the same gift to me
I do not hate you
I forgive you always

The one person that makes me mad
Mad enough to walk away is I
I cannot give you love
I cannot give you anything you deserve

I wonder now if you are really sleeping

As you awake tomorrow
