I love how i remember everything about you
from the first time you said hi how are you
and in the parking lot when i was having a rough day
without knowing me you picked me a flower anyway
i gave you my email and said I'd download aim for you
and i actually did and proved my words to be true.
i trusted you with my deepest secrets and thoughts
I'm not sure you know how much you helped, it was allot
and then you told your friend to give me your number
thats were it all started, now we barely ever slumber
we spoke for hours every single night
talking about love, life and how it didn't all work out right
and the more time we were together, the more i knew
that i was getting deeper feelings for you
and it took us so long just to say what we meant
and in your "dog analogy" the message was finally sent
since then we've only grown to love eachother more
and all my life I've never been more sure
about the way i feel when you look up and i see
the most beautiful girl with eyes saying you love me
and now i know i love you in every way
more than i think just words can say
i love that when you let down your hair
the smell of your shampoo fills the air
i love the way you laugh and i love the way you smile
i love your duck shoes that became Grey after awhile
i love your green eyes surrounded by blue
i love how you don't need makeup, and all i see is you
i love how you like that one freckle on my nose
i love how you hate sharks, bugs, feet and toes
i love how i feel every time that your near
i love that when I'm with you i have no doubt or fear
i love the way that your always the highlight of my day
i love that i found you, more than words can say
i love that you are my first everything
first girlfriend, first kiss, first to write a song for and sing
i love it when you say i love you
i overflow with happiness and say i love you to
i love how it doesn't matter what we do
its always a great time when it comes to us two
i love how we make such a great team
were eachothers better half, and i know it will seem
to people all around us that its to good to be true
but i know its the real thing every time i think of you
cause even being apart i know things wont go wrong
if anything i know it will make us more strong
and i know that i have so much more i could say
but saying all i love you for would take more than a day
so i end the first poem I've ever wrote
just saying that this is a specific love note
a statement of how I'll always feel
and another way of proving these feelings are real
i hope you'll always see that i love everything you are
and no matter were i go and no matter how far
I'll always be with you deep in your heart
and for that reason i know we'll never be apart
and if you ever lose faith or question if its the real thing
just look down by your neck and you'll see my ring
