Compliments of Three

by Jessie Hawkins   Aug 29, 2007

I feel as though I should compliment thee
But I can only think of three
You reek so sweet I fall off my feet
Your hair is so flat
When I first saw, I thought it a hat
But despite your sweeting reek
I will still kiss your cheek
And despite your flattened hair
I will still be unable to stifle my stare
To show what I mean, my third compliment
I hope will leave you content
Because I want you to know
It doesn't matter what the outside show
I can't help but love thee
No matter how bad my compliments of three
You are my light
Just hold me tight
And I will forget your smell and your hair
If you show me you care
