For the longest time I had felt I was missing something in my life,
everything so complicated until one day, it all became right.

I met you in sixth grade all because of a boy,
and I never thought that meeting you would bring a lifetime friendship of joy.

as the years have gone by we have become close,
you're a sister to me, the one that has been there the most.

as we have gotten older, we have come across hard times,
but together we made it through and it all turned out just fine.

I treasure our friendship as if it were a piece of gold,
