Helpless love

Have you ever felt so helpless,
being a mum
when there's no way you can protect
your beautiful son
cos hes different from others,
and very confused
when he has temper tantrums
when things keep getting him down
when he gets depressed
dosen't want you around
when your heart is breaking,
breaking in two
when you think of the struggle
he has to go through,
so you write him a letter
and say whatever it is, whoever you are
your mother & father
will love you forever
all we only want is that
you keep it together
we will always be here our love is forever
all i ever want for you is
that you are never sad
when all he only wanted
was to be a proper lad
but it matters nothing,
you've done nothing wrong
although you may feel different
you will always belong
as long as we live,
we will stand proud by your side
my beautiful son you ve got nothing to hide
you will come through this struggle
with pride and with joy
to us you will always be
our boy.
