Mythical Illusions

Collab with Sherry Lynn

Look in my eyes and tell what you see
First impressions of blond hair and a pretty face
Can you find the pain hidden deep within me?

Do you see the scars that I have buried
What about the love that I lost long ago
Can you see the fears that haunt me
Or does the surface appear magical

Wallking today with my head hung low
Aching to look at the sun
Darkness consumes my crying mind
Why did I have to be the one

Living a nightmare every day
unable to sleep; constantly awake
hidden tears within my soul
tell me how to let sorrow go

Is it written in a book
Or a line within a song
Give to me a healing
To break this myth that endures dearly

Answers come and go
flying by night; never stopping
losing control of destiny
please, won't somebody help me

Take my hand and lead me
just show the path to take
I dread this empty feeling
It is a mythical illusion I must break

Thanks for the collab babe ... I think this is my favorite poem by far that I have been a part of.

You tend to bring out the best in everyone and that I will always cherish about you.
