These Walls

by Lenny   Sep 1, 2007

These walls
They are ten feet high

I measured them myself

Cut each piece of wood
And laid each brick

Ten inches thick

Do you like what Ive done with the place?
How the nothing
Fills the space?

I can see it
That look on your face again

The, -why are we trapped, and how did I get here- look
You forget so easy my pretty one

You live here now,
With me,
With walls

These walls
They are ten feet high.
