The Rough Moon

The lonely man on the moon,
The sad expression up above
Pale dust and crumbs,
A tiny snowball in the universe,
Coloured brightly, mostly dim,
Time slowed upon the moon,
Black and brown craters scattered,
Rough and bumpy yet,
Dust as soft as silk,
Perfect for a universe,
In a tiny way,
