I've thought and i wondered how i could tell you
My true feelings inside just so you knew
So i started writing and this poem came to be
I know it can't express everything i want you to see
You are the reason i keep my head high
I reach past my grasp i reach for the sky
Your the reason i look forward and let go of my past
Your the reason i hold on to life and let off my mask
You accept my thoughts even if you don't understand
Your always there for me giving me a helping hand
Your a beautiful person who I'm blessed to have as a friend
Through good times and bad times through heartbreaks to mend
Your a shining star in a sky so cloudy gray
And though this never will be enough over again i will always say
Thank you so much for everything you've done
You've helped me through alot even though it wasn't fun
A friend is a blessing and was i blessed indeed
When i needed you most you were there to succeed
Whether i want to talk or whether i just want to listen
Your there for me and through my life thats what i was missing
Your the first person to be there when i needed them for me
And i truly need to thank you, like you will never see
If not for you i don't know but from here on out
I'm here for you without a doubt
I will climb mountains crawl valleys and plains
I will swim oceans and fight through the strain
I will be there for you as you have been for me my friend
I will be there for you even after time ends
So thank you my dear for everything you see
If you remember anything remember you helped me
And if you ever doubt anything I'm right here to say
Your an amazing wonderful person in every which way
