Closure Pt I

by Beauty Within These Pages of Darkness   Sep 1, 2007

A disturbed spirit haunts the halls of,
My old...now deserted school,
Floating from classroom to classroom,
Looking for some company.

The spirit is saddened,
'Cos there is no one there,
For him to play with,
Or even talk to.

So the lonely spirit countinues,
His perpetual quest,
To find that special someone,
To make his existence complete.

He died so young,
Thirty years ago,
He was stabbed in the chest,
And left for dead,
In a corner of a dark cloakroom.

He was attacked by someone,
He had never seen before,
Now he floats through the deserted school,
Searching for the company of his attacker.

Giving his attacker a chance,
A chance to explain his deadly actions,
That rainy fateful day,
Then the lonely spirit can be,

Released from his shackeled prison,
That he's had to endure,
For the past thirty years,
Will that day ever come?

I'm sure when that day does come around,
He will be happy and free,
Only then can he forget about that fatal day,
Thus bringing this thirty year tale to closure.
