Your garden

by purplemadness   Sep 3, 2007

You laid me down in your garden of love,
And you gave me wings, made of the feathers of a dove.
You put me down on the grass so soft and green,
You are the sweetest angel that I ever seen.
I want to stay in your garden till I die,
Because you lift me up and you make me fly.
There is nothing special that you have to do,
Your garden is special enough because it contains you.
Just in everything that you do,
Lets me know that you love me too.
I just want to hold you so very close,
How it will end no one knows.
But if judgement day would come today,
At your side is where I would stay.
A long bright future lies ahead,
With fun and laughter and no reason to be sad.
And no matter if it's summer, winter, spring or fall,
I will be there for you if you should call.
With your smile as bright as a million sparks,
You light up the deepest dark.
Oh baby, could this really be true?
'Cause I am totally crazy about you.
Your garden of love looks so fine,
It would even be better if I could call you mine.
And you perform your magic, how I don't know,
But every time you appear, there's a rainbow.
Your eyes are as deep as mountain lakes,
My love for you has no more brakes.
So let's stay in your garden now and forever,
We will never have heartaches again, not now, not ever.
