Lovers In The Morgue

by hippiehxc   Sep 4, 2007

Your words have started to become careless.
Your actions are unsure, what happened?
Patience is running thin.
You're giving me a false sense of security again.

You look so peaceful when your blue eyes rest.
There's never any sadness on your face.
I wish things could go back to the way they were.
With us both in our place.

The way you look at me just kills me.
Your touch freezes my skin.
Your kiss leaves me gasping.
And I can't stress enough that patience is wearing thin.

The wait has killed us, it was too long to take.
When they wheel us into the morgue, who will remember?
Our eyes are glazed over, hearts frozen solid,
And out hands are sewn together.

There's nothing like a classic love story,
With a sinister twist at the end.
Everyone always doubted us,
But this was never pretend.

    I loved the ending, love.
    It was really amazing, sweetie.
Take good care of yourself, m'dear.
