If only

by Filledwithjoy   Sep 4, 2007

The innocent eyes
the sweet cry of the longing to be held
the happiness within their call
the way they stick together and let nothing divide them
the siloette is coming
a man with an axe
they can sense danger is approaching
they are trapped no where to run
or to hide
if only...
if only they were free
they wouldnt be hurt
they couldnt be slaughtered
but the man with the axe is coming.
there is nothing they can do
if only...
if only there was rights for these creatures
if only there was someone who cared enough to go against God to stop this monstrous act of cruelty
if only their tortured cries could be heard by the ignorant humans
if only the axe had dissapeared...
then the baby lamb wouldnt have lost his mother
then he would have brothers and sisters
then humanity would apply to all creatures great and small
if only...

This is why i gave up meat. So cruel!!!
